Cafe Granja La Esperanza (CGLE) is a popular estate in the coffee market in recent years because of its excellent coffee quality — and the estate itself does not belong to any individuals or families, but several coffee farmers as a whole for external sales. The entire estate mainly handpicked fully mature coffee beans, and the coffee farmers also spend their efforts to maintain a good planting environment to ensure the quality of green coffee beans.
This batch of coffee is incredibly unique as it comes from a rare tree species called CGLE-17, which is a cross between Caturra and Gesha. The project to cultivate this species started back in 2011, and it wasn't until 2017 that the planting actually began. Through constant adjustments and testing, this coffee bean has a bright fruit acidity and rich sweetness that can be felt. Once cooled, the flavor becomes stronger and clearer, and the overall performance is complex yet delicate.
