來自哥斯大黎加的知名處理廠 Las Lajas，這款 Yellow Honey（黃蜜處理） 是他們最具代表性的經典批次之一。Las Lajas 由 Chacon 家族經營，早於 2000 年代便開始嘗試各種創新處理法，是中美洲最早推廣「蜜處理」工藝的先鋒之一。其處理廠位於 Alajuela，海拔約 1,400–1,600 公尺，得天獨厚的微氣候與穩定管理，使得 Las Lajas 出品在國際間廣受烘豆師與精品店信賴。
這款 Yellow Honey 在日曬乾燥過程中保留適量果膠，讓咖啡豆自然吸收甜味與果香，風味上比白蜜更飽滿，又較紅蜜來得清爽。杯中呈現出 黑布冧、黑莓、提子乾、合桃 等深色果實與堅果調性，口感順滑、有厚度，甜感持久，結構平衡，是經典中帶有熟成果調的代表風格。
From the renowned Las Lajas in Costa Rica, this Yellow Honey processed coffee represents one of the most iconic expressions from the Chacón family — pioneers of honey and natural processing in Central America. Located in Alajuela at elevations of 1,400–1,600 meters, Las Lajas is celebrated for its meticulous, small-batch processing and consistent quality, trusted by roasters and specialty coffee professionals worldwide.
The Yellow Honey process involves leaving a moderate amount of mucilage on the beans during drying, allowing the coffee to absorb more sweetness and fruit character while maintaining clarity. Compared to white honey, it offers greater body and fruit depth, but remains lighter and cleaner than red honey.
In the cup, expect flavor notes of black plum, blackberry, raisin, and walnut, with a smooth mouthfeel, balanced structure, and a long-lasting sweetness. This coffee is ideal for those who enjoy a rich, sweet cup with layers of dark fruit and gentle nutty undertones. It also performs beautifully in both pour-over and single-origin espresso, offering clarity with depth.
