Mejorando 在西班牙語中意為「持續進步」。
這支神秘的 Typica 品種,由 Juan Peña 於 2010 年種植於 Pichincha,當時厄瓜多爾在精品咖啡世界仍未受到廣泛關注。自此之後,每一個收成都逐步印證了其名字的意義。
風味以熟芒果與菠蘿般的熱帶果感展開,隨後轉為清晰明亮的甜橙調性。整體口感極為順滑細緻,幾乎帶來一種「入口即化」,只留下純淨與甜感。
我們在 La Papaya 尚未被廣泛認識時便開始合作,並一路見證它不斷攀升的表現。
Mejorando means “improving” in Spanish.
This mysterious Typica variety was planted by Juan Peña in Pichincha in 2010, at a time when Ecuador was still largely overlooked by the specialty coffee world. Since then, every harvest has steadily lived up to its name.
In the cup, it opens with ripe mango and juicy pineapple, followed by bright sweet orange. The body is remarkably smooth—so refined it almost seems to disappear, leaving only clarity and sweetness behind.
We started working with La Papaya early on, and have been watching it climb ever since.
